DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro spotted in FCC database with battery details

DJI is moving closer to announcing a new professional version of its pocket camera with a gimbal. Documentation for the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro has surfaced in the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database, a step that typically occurs during the final stage of preparing a device for market launch.

This FCC appearance is particularly significant because gadgets with wireless modules cannot be officially sold in the U.S. without this approval. The standard Osmo Pocket 4 has already undergone similar certification, and now the presence of two models in regulatory databases suggests DJI's plans for a broader, likely global, rollout of the lineup.

From the documents, one of the few technical details revealed is the battery. The Osmo Pocket 4 Pro features a 1,545 mAh battery at 7.7V. This marks a notable improvement over the Osmo Pocket 3, which had a 1,300 mAh battery, indirectly supporting rumors of enhanced battery life in the new models.

DJI has chosen to keep other details under wraps. The company filed for confidentiality, so internal photos and schematics of the device will only become public closer to the end of June 2026. Still, the certification itself indicates that key formalities for the market launch have been handled.

According to unofficial reports, the Osmo Pocket 4 Pro might arrive later than the base version—likely in late spring or early summer. As expected for a Pro model, improvements are anticipated in areas like the camera, stabilization, or additional features for advanced users. While DJI remains silent, the movement through regulatory bodies clearly signals that the release is imminent.
