Ayaneo is gradually revealing details about its new gaming smartphone, the Pocket Play, which draws inspiration from the legendary Xperia Play. Recent teasers show the device will be available in three colors: black, white, and a stylish red.
The Pocket Play is equipped with a Dimensity 9300 processor and an air cooling system designed to effectively dissipate heat during extended gaming sessions. For tactile feedback, it features a linear X-axis motor with four vibration modes, enhancing the realism of gameplay.
It boasts a 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The retractable controls with touch panels can function as virtual joysticks, offering a unique gaming experience.
Connectivity includes a USB 3.2 Gen Type-C port with DisplayPort 1.4 support, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, and a microSD slot supporting up to 512 GB. The release date and price have not been announced yet, but they are expected to be revealed soon.
