Xiaomi Redmi K90 Ultra and K Pad 2 feature Bose-enhanced audio

Xiaomi is preparing two devices with enhanced audio: the flagship smartphone Redmi K90 Ultra and the tablet Redmi K Pad 2 may feature a three-speaker system tuned in collaboration with Bose. According to insider Smart Pikachu, this setup promises louder and richer sound compared to standard mobile speakers. Xiaomi has previously tested this Bose partnership on the Redmi K90 Pro Max, where even the rear panel included a module for immersive audio.

Redmi K90 Ultra aims to be a multimedia powerhouse: an 8500 mAh battery and built-in fan will power and cool the high-performance Dimensity 9500 processor. Its 1.5K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and 100W fast charging make it versatile for gaming, movie-watching, and music. The international version may launch as the Xiaomi 17T Pro with the same audio system.

The tablet Redmi K Pad 2, known as the Xiaomi Pad Mini 2 globally, will sport an 8.8-inch 3K display, a top-tier processor, and a 9000 mAh battery. Its Bose-enhanced audio and compact form factor position it as a strong choice for multimedia consumption. It will be interesting to see how Xiaomi balances power and premium sound in these compact devices—a move that could further the brand's shift toward audiophile-friendly smartphones.
