Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S25 FE, and a recent leak has revealed three major upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE. The upcoming model will feature a 12 MP front camera instead of 10 MP, a larger 4,900 mAh battery (up from 4,700 mAh), and faster 45 W wired charging, replacing the previous 25 W standard.
The main camera system remains unchanged: a 50 MP sensor with optical stabilization, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. However, Samsung will enhance imaging performance with its improved AI ProVisual Engine, designed to deliver higher-quality photos and videos. Under the hood, the phone runs on the Exynos 2400 chipset paired with 8 GB of RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, powered by Android 15 with One UI 7.0. Samsung has also committed to seven years of OS and security updates, matching the company’s long-term support policy for flagship models.
The Galaxy S25 FE will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, up to 120 Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Protection is provided by Gorilla Glass Victus+, while the chassis combines an Armor Aluminum frame with IP68-rated water and dust resistance. Despite the larger battery, the device weighs just 190 grams, about 20 grams lighter than its predecessor.
At launch, the smartphone is expected to be available in black, dark blue, light blue, and white. The price is reported at €789.99, and the official debut may take place at IFA 2025, which begins on September 4.
