Samsung is preparing to expand its Galaxy A series lineup soon, as the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 models have appeared in the Google Play Console database. This listing typically signals an imminent official announcement. Beyond confirming the models themselves, the publication revealed key technical specifications and the smartphones' appearance.
The Galaxy A37 will feature Samsung's proprietary Exynos 1480 processor and at least one version with 6 GB of RAM, though other configurations are expected. The smartphone will run Android 16 out of the box. According to preliminary data, the main 50 MP camera will receive an updated Sony IMX906 sensor, which should positively impact photo quality. The module will be complemented by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 5 MP macro lens, similar to the previous generation.
The Galaxy A57 is positioned as a more advanced model. It is equipped with the new Exynos 1680 chip and a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, with early Geekbench tests also indicating a version with 12 GB of RAM. The device will also run Android 16. In terms of cameras, it is expected to feature a 50 MP main sensor, a 13 MP ultra-wide module, and a 5 MP macro camera. Both smartphones will be equipped with a 12 MP front camera.
Additional specifications for the Galaxy A57 include a 6.6-inch display with FHD+ resolution and a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 45W fast wired charging. Given the leaks and appearance in the Google Play Console, the official launch of these new devices could occur in the coming weeks, strengthening Samsung's position in the mid-range market segment.
