Samsung is developing a new intelligent feature called Now Nudge, which could appear in the Galaxy S26 smartphone series. Details emerged from a leak of the One UI 9 firmware code.
Now Nudge is seen as Samsung's own counterpart to Google's Magic Cue feature, previously introduced for Pixel devices. It's designed for contextual prompts and automatically extracting useful information from various apps. According to the firmware code, Now Nudge will be able to remember and use data related to flights, accommodation and car rentals, restaurant bookings, sporting events, movies, coupons, workouts, and other daily tasks.
SammyGuru specialists found a list of categories in One UI 9 that the feature will work with. These include flights, transport, government and medical services, entertainment, education, sports, equipment rental, and cultural events. This list is expected to expand as the feature develops.
Like Magic Cue, Now Nudge will likely analyze the context of user actions and offer relevant information at the right moment. For example, the system could help with ticket searches, remind about bookings, or provide trip details without manual searching.
Now Nudge isn't the only anticipated innovation for the Galaxy S26. According to leaks, the smartphones may also get new camera settings, including video smoothing tools and more flexible autofocus adjustments.
