The Xiaomi 17 series is gearing up for its European launch, with configurations, prices, and release dates for both the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra models now known ahead of the official presentation. The global announcement is expected in late February, just before MWC 2026 kicks off in Barcelona from March 2 to 5. According to available information, the European launch will take place on February 28, 2026.
In Europe, the Xiaomi 17 will come with 12 GB of RAM and storage options of 256 GB or 512 GB. Contrary to some rumors, all four colors shown in China—black, white, blue, and pink—will be offered to buyers. However, the pink version and the 256 GB variant will only be available through select retailers. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will feature 16 GB of RAM and two storage choices: 512 GB and 1 TB, with the higher-end version also being exclusive to certain sellers. The Ultra's color palette will be limited to black, white, and green.
Battery capacity has received particular attention: global versions will get batteries with 6,330 mAh for the Xiaomi 17 and 6,000 mAh for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. These figures are slightly lower than the Chinese modifications but still represent impressive specs for flagship devices. Meanwhile, the company has decided to maintain the pricing strategy of the previous generation. The Xiaomi 17 with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage will cost 999 euros, while the 12/512 GB variant will be priced at 1,099 euros. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is set at 1,499 euros for the 16/512 GB configuration and 1,699 euros for 16 GB RAM with 1 TB storage.
Alongside the launch, initial promotions and special offers from partners are expected. In practice, this means Xiaomi aims to strengthen its position in the premium segment by keeping prices steady while delivering notable improvements in specifications.
