Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition performance and AI features detailed

The flagship smartphone Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition has appeared in the Geekbench database ahead of its official global announcement, revealing key performance and configuration details. The test features a global version of the device with the model number 25128PNA1G, hinting at an imminent global release. Based on the benchmark data, the phone clearly emphasizes artificial intelligence tasks.

In Geekbench AI, the device scored 1,973 points in single-precision mode, 3,322 points in half-precision mode, and 4,754 points in quantized mode. These results indicate significant optimization for AI scenarios, ranging from photo and video processing to voice recognition and real-time generative algorithms. The presence of 16 GB of RAM is also confirmed, fitting its ultra-flagship status. The smartphone's platform is based on a Qualcomm chipset with ARMv8 architecture, where six energy-efficient cores run at up to 3.63 GHz, and two performance cores reach 4.61 GHz. These parameters match the specifications of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

The Leica Edition version is rumored to retain the base hardware of the standard Ultra but focus on photographic capabilities. This involves refined color reproduction, exclusive shooting modes, and custom settings developed in collaboration with Leica. A large 120 Hz LTPO AMOLED display, a 6,800 mAh battery, and an advanced camera system, including a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens, are also expected. According to preliminary information, the global release may occur in late February, potentially before the start of Mobile World Congress 2026.
