Samsung Galaxy A37 and A57: specs and launch info

Samsung is actively preparing an update to its popular Galaxy A series. The Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 smartphones have appeared in Singapore's IMDA database, which typically indicates an impending launch.

The certification documents list model numbers A376B/DS and SM-A576B/DS. The DS designation confirms dual-SIM support, a characteristic feature of global versions. As usual, IMDA doesn't reveal technical specifications, limiting itself to confirming standard communication modules.

Previously, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 had already appeared in other regulatory databases and in Google Play Console. Given Samsung's typical schedule, the official debut of the new models could take place as early as March 2026.

According to leaks, the Galaxy A37 might feature the Exynos 1480 processor—the same chip used in the Galaxy A55. This positions the model in the mid-range segment rather than the budget category. It's expected to have at least 6GB of RAM, along with a 50MP main camera, likely with optical image stabilization. The smartphone is also rumored to pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

The Galaxy A57, according to rumors, will be the more advanced model in the lineup. It's expected to feature the new Exynos 1680 processor and a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Battery capacity will remain at 5000mAh, with charging power staying at 45W. Among the anticipated features are IP67 water and dust resistance and stereo speakers.

Both models are expected to run Android 16 with the One UI 8.5 interface, assuming launch timelines aren't adjusted. The appearance of the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 in the IMDA database confirms that the devices are already undergoing final regulatory checks. Samsung will likely reveal full specifications and official prices in the coming weeks.
