Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra early leak: specs, price, and benchmarks

A tech blogger on YouTube, Sahil Karoul, managed to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra before its official announcement. The Dubai-based content creator says he bought the smartphone at a retail store in a major electronics market, bypassing standard waiting periods. According to the blogger, the device cost him $3,300—more than double the expected retail price. The official price for the base Galaxy S26 Ultra with 256GB of storage is anticipated to be around $1,299, with the high cost of this early unit attributed to exclusive access fees.

In published photos and videos, the smartphone appears to be a fully finished production model rather than an engineering prototype. The blogger compared it to several current flagship devices, including the Galaxy S25 Ultra, vivo X300, OPPO Find X9 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The device also underwent preliminary benchmark tests. In AnTuTu, it scored 3,720,219 points, while in Geekbench, it achieved 3,648 points in single-core and 10,898 points in multi-core modes. The 3DMark Wild Life Extreme Stress Test yielded a result of 6,849 points with a stability of 53.2%. As the author himself notes, these figures should be approached with caution due to potential software immaturity.

The blogger paid particular attention to the new Privacy Display feature. He explained that the screen dynamically adjusts viewing angles on the sides, reducing the chance of bystanders seeing the display content—exactly how Samsung previously described this technology.

No official comments from Samsung regarding the leak have been made yet. Details about the Galaxy S26 Ultra are expected to be revealed at the Samsung Unpacked event, scheduled for February 25, 2026.
