Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro features: head gestures and remote camera shutter

With the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 launch just days away, leaks continue to reveal more details about the premium Galaxy Buds 4 Pro model. According to insiders, the earbuds will feature not only audio improvements but also several unusual control functions.

One of the key innovations will be head gestures. Users will be able to nod or shake their head to perform actions like accepting or rejecting calls, answering Bixby queries, stopping notification readouts, or dismissing alarms and reminders. This functionality could make device interaction more natural and convenient, especially when hands are busy.

Another interesting feature will be using the earbuds as a remote camera shutter button. Reportedly, holding the earbud stem will allow taking photos or starting video recording. This proves particularly handy for tripod shots or when using the Flex mode on Galaxy Z foldable smartphones.

The charging case is also getting updates. According to leaks, its back panel will gain a dedicated pairing button next to the USB-C port. Additionally, the case will help locate a smartphone: double-pressing the button with the earbuds inside will trigger an audible alert on the phone, making it easier to find.

The official Galaxy Buds 4 Pro debut will happen at the Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the Galaxy S26 series. Given the number of new features, Samsung appears to be focusing not just on sound quality but also on expanding use cases.
