Xiaomi continues to expand the rollout of its HyperOS 3 interface, offering updates for both global markets and users in China. The HyperOS 3 firmware based on Android 15 is now available worldwide for the Xiaomi 12T Pro, while the Xiaomi 15 Pro receives a new beta version of HyperOS 3.1.
HyperOS 3 on Android 15 first launched in China in December 2025. This version is intended for devices that won't receive Android 16 but can still upgrade to the latest version of Xiaomi's custom system. The update is now expanding beyond the Chinese market, bringing new interface features and system improvements to more users.
For the Xiaomi 12T Pro, the global version of HyperOS 3 carries build number 3.0.1.0.VLFMIXM. The update weighs several gigabytes, so a stable Wi-Fi connection and sufficient battery charge are recommended for installation. Users can check for the firmware in their device settings under "My device" by tapping the HyperOS logo.
At the same time, Xiaomi is developing the HyperOS 3.1 branch. Beta program participants with the Xiaomi 15 Pro are receiving a new build numbered 3.0.300.7.WOBCNXM. This update focuses primarily on performance optimization and bug fixes, with no major interface changes or new features announced.
Currently, the HyperOS 3.1 beta testing program is only available in China, so the corresponding update for the Xiaomi 15 Pro is limited to that region. Xiaomi has not yet officially announced plans to launch the beta program in other countries.
