Lenovo is gearing up to launch its new gaming tablet, the Legion Y700 Gen 5, and has started sharing details about its capabilities. According to recent teasers, the tablet will feature two AI-powered functions designed to enhance the gaming experience. Both are part of the Lenovo Tianxi AI platform and aim to optimize performance and audio quality.
One function focuses on system planning: it analyzes device load and adjusts resource allocation to maintain high and stable minimum frame rates. Lenovo claims this can deliver up to a 25.6% increase in FPS compared to competing gaming tablets. Stable frame rates should improve gameplay smoothness and comfort in fast-paced titles.
The second function, Voiceprint Hunter 2.0, targets audio and is especially useful in multiplayer games. It amplifies key audio details, such as enemy footsteps, giving players more information about in-game events and potentially offering a tactical advantage. Lenovo emphasizes that these AI technologies significantly boost the tablet's competitiveness against other gaming devices.
The Legion Y700 Gen 5 is initially launching in China, with a release expected in March 2026. A global version has not been announced yet, but Lenovo will likely share more details before the official launch to maintain audience interest and prepare the market for the new device.
