OPPO continues to reveal details about its upcoming flagship foldable, the Find N6, which is expected to launch officially in China within the coming weeks. A brand representative on social media confirmed that the new device will make a significant push in mobile photography, offering a unique solution for the segment.
According to Find product line manager Zhou Yibao, the Find N6 will be the first foldable smartphone to feature a 200-megapixel quad-camera system co-developed with Hasselblad. This ultra-high-resolution setup focuses on maximum detail and advanced color reproduction. The partnership with Hasselblad involves enhanced color calibration and image processing algorithms.
The debut of OPPO's proprietary Danxia color technology in a foldable form factor has also been confirmed. The system reportedly uses a multi-spectral sensor for more accurate ambient light analysis and natural color rendering. Preliminary information suggests the main module will be complemented by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a periscope telephoto lens with optical zoom. Additionally, a special Find N6 Satellite Edition with satellite connectivity is expected.
Leaks indicate the device will feature an 8.12-inch inner display with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 6.62-inch FHD+ external screen with the same refresh rate. It may be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor in a seven-core configuration. Versions with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage are anticipated.
Rumors suggest the battery capacity will be around 6,000 mAh with support for fast wired charging. OPPO has also hinted at refinements to the hinge design and reduced visibility of the crease on the screen. The smartphone will run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The official Find N6 presentation is expected to take place on March 17.
