Xiaomi Vision GT concept car revealed with digital tech features

Ahead of MWC 2026 in Barcelona, Xiaomi held a global presentation for its Xiaomi 17 series, and at the event's conclusion, it unexpectedly unveiled the Vision GT concept supercar, a two-door model. This new addition is part of the Vision Gran Turismo program and will eventually be available for virtual driving in the game Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation 5.

The Xiaomi Vision GT features an aggressive racing style with an extremely low stance and a wide body. The concept car adopts a mid-engine layout, gullwing doors, a large carbon-fiber rear wing, and prominent aerodynamic elements. The rear end is highlighted by circular LED taillights that create a distinctive "starlight" lighting signature.

Inside, the developers focused on digital technology. The car is equipped with the Xiaomi Horizon Display, a panoramic screen that merges the instrument cluster and multimedia system into a single visual surface. It also integrates with the "human-car-home" ecosystem: health data from Xiaomi's smartwatches can be displayed directly on the car's screen.

The introduction of the Vision GT underscores Xiaomi's ambitions in the automotive sector and its drive to strengthen its brand image as a technology leader in the premium segment. While this is a concept car, its inclusion in Gran Turismo 7 will allow a broad audience to experience the company's design vision in a virtual format.
