Honor unveiled the Magic V6 at MWC 2026 for the global market, then confirmed a Chinese launch on March 10. However, the Chinese version has drawn particular attention: teaser data suggests it will feature a 7,150 mAh battery—the largest ever in a foldable device.
The global Magic V6 comes with a 6,660 mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 66W wireless fast charging. The Chinese variant is said to use a new-generation Qinghai Lake Blade battery with over 32% silicon content and an energy density of 985 Wh/L. Honor claims this will deliver over 24 hours of battery life. Unofficially, the top configuration may support charging up to 120W and gain additional features like satellite connectivity.
The Magic V6 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It's the first foldable with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The hinge, called Super Steel Hinge, is rated for 500,000 folds. The device measures 8.75mm thick when folded and just 4mm when unfolded.
The inner display is a 7.95-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED with a 2172×2352 resolution, adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness up to 5,000 nits. The external screen is a 6.52-inch panel that also supports 1–120Hz and reaches up to 6,000 nits. Both displays are stylus-compatible and feature 20MP front cameras. The main camera setup includes a 50MP sensor with optical image stabilization, a 64MP periscope lens with 3x zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The phone runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, with Honor promising seven major OS updates.
