Details about the upcoming OnePlus 15T continue to emerge, with official confirmations now available for key specifications. OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis has revealed the smartphone will feature a massive 7,500 mAh battery—a capacity rarely seen even in larger devices. Remarkably, the model maintains a compact form factor with a 6.32-inch display. Compared to other smartphones of similar size that offer significantly smaller batteries, this newcomer could become one of the most long-lasting compact flagships on the market.
The use of OnePlus's proprietary Glacier battery, based on silicon-carbon technology, enables this increased capacity without expanding the device's dimensions. This approach delivers higher energy density than traditional lithium-ion solutions. Beyond impressive battery life, the device will support ultra-fast charging at 100W via cable and 50W wirelessly, allowing for quick power top-ups.
Performance also looks promising. In an AnTuTu benchmark test, the smartphone scored 4,455,423 points, placing it among the most powerful devices expected in early 2026. It will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and come with Android 16 out of the box. Preliminary information suggests the base configuration includes 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, though more affordable options may also be available.
Other anticipated features include an AMOLED display with approximately 1.5K resolution, a dual main camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50MP periscope module, plus a 32MP front-facing camera. The expected price is around $650. While an official release date hasn't been announced, rumors point to a possible March 2026 launch.
