Nothing Headphone (a): affordable wireless headphones with long battery life

Alongside its new smartphones, Nothing has introduced the Nothing Headphone (a), its first more affordable full-size headphones under its own brand. The new model comes in four colors: white, black, pink, and yellow, with the yellow version being a limited edition. A key feature is the battery life—up to 135 hours on a single charge. Fast charging is also promised: just five minutes at an outlet provides up to five hours of playback. Weighing 310 grams, the model uses memory foam ear cushions, and the case protection meets the IP52 standard.

The control system is inherited from last year's Nothing Headphone (1): a wheel, touch panel, and separate button allow for adjusting volume, switching tracks, and managing active noise cancellation modes without complex gestures. The button can be used as a remote camera shutter, and the Channel Hop feature enables quick switching between apps and functions without needing to take out the smartphone.

The headphones are certified to the Hi-Resolution Audio Wireless standard and support the LDAC codec. The design incorporates 40mm drivers with titanium coating, delivering clean and powerful sound. The active noise cancellation system offers three modes, and there are three microphones for calls. In the Nothing X app, an eight-band equalizer is available, along with a real-time bass enhancement algorithm. Sales start on March 13 at a price of 159 euros, with the yellow version going on sale on April 6. Pre-orders are already open on the brand's official website and through several partners.
