Motorola Edge 70 Fusion smartphone with 7,000 mAh battery and 144Hz AMOLED

Motorola has unveiled the new Edge 70 Fusion smartphone, focusing on battery life, a high refresh rate display, and enhanced camera capabilities. The device features a slim body with a textured fabric-like finish and curved edges on the screen, designed for multimedia use.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel supports HDR10+, 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, and 10-bit color depth. Peak brightness is rated at 5,200 nits, with protection provided by Gorilla Glass 7i. For audio, it includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The main camera uses a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 710 sensor with optical image stabilization. It is complemented by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide module capable of macro photography and a separate light sensor. The front camera is 32 megapixels and supports 4K video recording. On the software side, features include adaptive stabilization, portrait modes with different focal lengths, and AI-based photo processing tools.

At its core, the device runs on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, with configurations offering up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It operates on Android 16 with the Hello UI interface and will receive three major system updates and five years of security patches. Power comes from a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 7,000 mAh, supporting 68W fast charging. The company claims a short charge is enough for a full day of use.

Pricing for the new model starts at $300 for the 8/128GB variant, while the top-tier 12/256GB configuration costs $360.
