POCO X8 Pro Max smartphone details and performance results

The POCO X8 Pro Max smartphone has surfaced in the Geekbench database, revealing key specifications and early performance results. Two versions of the device—global and Indian—appeared in the tests with model numbers 2602BPC18G and 2602BPC18I. The POCO X8 Pro lineup is expected to be announced by the end of the month.

According to Geekbench 6.5 data, the global version scored 2,659 points in the single-core test and 8,369 points in the multi-core test. The Indian variant posted similar results, with 2,616 and 8,401 points respectively. This marks the first appearance of the Dimensity 9500s chip in synthetic benchmarks, offering a glimpse of its real-world capabilities.

The Dimensity 9500s is a simplified version of the flagship Dimensity 9500, which launched in October 2025. The processor features a 1+3+4 core configuration: one high-performance core runs at up to 3.73 GHz, three cores at up to 3.30 GHz, and four efficiency cores at up to 2.40 GHz. Graphics are handled by the Mali-G925 Immortalis MC11 GPU. For comparison, the standard Dimensity 9500 uses higher clock speeds and delivers significantly better benchmark results.

The database also shows the POCO X8 Pro Max runs Android 16 and comes with 12GB of RAM. Its appearance in Geekbench suggests the device is in the final testing phase ahead of an official launch. Unconfirmed reports indicate the series could be unveiled as soon as March 26.
