Xiaomi has rolled out a significant software update for its Xiaomi 15 smartphone, aimed at addressing stability issues that have plagued the device. Many users had reported erratic behavior, including unexpected reboots during normal use or even while charging.
After analyzing error reports, developers have released a patch designed to optimize resource management in the HyperOS operating system. The update fixes underlying software architecture problems that were causing the instability.
The firmware began rolling out on March 7, 2026. If issues persist after installing the update, users are advised to clear the system cache via Recovery mode. To do this, power off the device completely, then hold the power and volume up buttons simultaneously until the Android logo appears. From there, you can proceed to clear the system cache, which can sometimes resolve lingering glitches.
