Nvidia driver 595.76 enhances RTX 50 series graphics card performance

Nvidia has released a new driver version, 595.76, which fixes a critical issue found in the previous 595.71 release and boosts performance for GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards. The update is already available and recommended for all compatible GPU owners.

The earlier 595.71 driver had an artificial voltage limitation on the GPU core, preventing stable clock speeds above roughly 3 GHz. This affected all models in the series, including the flagship GeForce RTX 5090, and impacted overall device performance.

After installing driver 595.76, users began sharing results online. On Reddit, an owner of an ASUS Prime RTX 5080 reported a performance increase of about 7% in the Steel Nomad synthetic test and a score of 35,853 points in 3DMark Time Spy. Stability during manual overclocking has improved as well, with cards now holding base and boosted frequencies more reliably without unexpected performance drops.

Gaming tests also show gains. According to gamer feedback, in demanding titles like Assetto Corsa and BeamNG.drive, frame rate improvements range from approximately 15 to 30 FPS across different setups. Owners of high-end RTX 5090 cards confirmed noticeable improvements in smoothness and responsiveness in games after the update.

Overall, the new 595.76 driver not only resolves the critical bug from the previous version but also makes RTX 50 series cards more stable and responsive in both synthetic benchmarks and real-world gaming scenarios.
