A new leak has surfaced about the upcoming Redmi K90 Ultra smartphone, which is rumored to be in development as a powerful mobile gaming device. The information comes from insider Digital Chat Station. If the details are accurate, this new model could become a serious competitor to dedicated gaming smartphones.
One of the key features might be a built-in active cooling fan. This system is designed to more effectively dissipate heat during extended gaming sessions and prevent performance throttling under heavy loads.
At its heart, preliminary information suggests the phone will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. While it might lag behind some flagship Snapdragon chips in certain benchmarks, its performance is expected to be sufficient for modern games. The leak also mentions a dedicated graphics chip that could stabilize frame rates and enhance image processing. In some games, the device is anticipated to deliver up to 165 frames per second.
Another standout feature could be a very large battery. Early data indicates its capacity will exceed 8,000 mAh and may reach around 8,500 mAh. For a gaming smartphone, this would allow for longer play sessions without needing frequent recharges.
Other reported specifications include specially tuned symmetrical stereo speakers, a powerful vibration motor for haptic feedback, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. There is no official confirmation from Xiaomi yet, but the leaks point to a possible debut for the Redmi K90 Ultra in China as early as April 2026.
