OPPO announces price hikes for smartphones starting March 2026

OPPO has announced upcoming price increases for some of its smartphones. The company issued a notice about this change in its official online store, stating that the new pricing will take effect starting at midnight on March 16, 2026.

According to OPPO, this decision stems from rising costs of key components used in device manufacturing. Specifically, memory and high-speed storage—some of the most expensive elements in modern smartphones—are driving the increase. The company emphasizes that the price adjustments follow a thorough assessment of market conditions.

Not all devices will be affected. The changes will primarily impact more affordable models in the OPPO A and OPPO K series. Additionally, some OnePlus smartphones, which are part of the same ecosystem, may also see price hikes. Meanwhile, premium models will remain at their current prices for now. OPPO clarifies that devices in the Find and Reno series, as well as OPPO Pad tablets, are not included in this new pricing policy at this stage.

OPPO isn’t alone in raising prices. Recently, other manufacturers have also hinted at possible smartphone price increases. For instance, some Redmi models in China have already become more expensive, and Samsung recently raised prices for Galaxy smartphones in the Indian market. In most cases, the reason cited is the same: higher component costs and fluctuations in the global electronics market.
