Ahead of the official announcement of the March PS Plus Extra lineup, rumors swirled online about the possible addition of Final Fantasy XVI and Dragon's Dogma 2. However, after fact-checking these claims, it turned out the information was unverified. One account that spread the message admitted it was merely a "predicted version," not a leak.
According to insiders, starting March 17, 2026, PS Plus Extra subscribers will receive six new games. The list includes Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 for PS5, Persona 5 Royal for PS5 and PS4, Madden NFL 26 for PS5, Metal Eden for PS5, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria for PS5, and Astroneer for PS4. Official confirmation is expected on March 11 in the afternoon.
The month's headliners are Space Marine 2 and Persona 5 Royal. The former remains a relevant hit with regular updates and recently joined Game Pass, while the latter is an expanded version of a cult JRPG offering dozens of hours of content. These titles significantly bolster the March selection.
The other games add genre variety. Madden NFL 26 covers the sports segment, Metal Eden will interest fans of new releases, Return to Moria offers survival gameplay in the Lord of the Rings universe, and Astroneer provides relaxed space exploration. PS Plus Premium subscribers will additionally get Tekken Dark Resurrection from PSP, which was previously announced at a State of Play event.
