New details have emerged online about Samsung's upcoming mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57. The information comes from an early retail listing shared by well-known insider Evan Blass. The leak reveals not only the devices' key specifications but also their expected prices.
Both models will feature 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ displays with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphones also come equipped with a 12-megapixel front camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Design-wise, the new devices will closely resemble previous Galaxy A series models.
The main camera setup on both phones includes a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization, along with a 5-megapixel macro sensor. However, the ultra-wide modules differ between the two models. The Galaxy A57 will get a 12-megapixel camera, while the Galaxy A37 will have an 8-megapixel one. Both devices are expected to support 4K video recording at 30 frames per second, including on the front camera.
Rumors suggest the Galaxy A57 will run on the Exynos 1680 processor, while the Galaxy A37 will use the Exynos 1480. Both smartphones may launch with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 5000mAh battery, and support for 45W fast charging. The devices should also run Android 16 with the One UI 8.5 interface. Preliminary information indicates the new models could be more expensive than their predecessors due to ongoing memory chip shortages.
