Rumors suggest OnePlus is testing a new premium tablet with a large 12-inch display and the high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. The device, aimed at the high-end Android tablet market, may feature a battery capacity exceeding 12,000 mAh, promising extended battery life even under heavy use.
Insider Yogesh Brar has indicated that the tablet could be among the first Android devices based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, enabling high performance in gaming, multitasking, and AI functions. If these rumors hold true, the device will compete with premium tablets rather than mid-range models.
OnePlus previously demonstrated strong results with the OnePlus Pad 3 on the Snapdragon 8 Elite, showing excellent performance in demanding tasks. The new tablet appears to follow this trend, offering even more powerful hardware and a large screen suitable for work and entertainment.
Currently, all specifications are in the testing phase, and no exact release date has been confirmed. However, insiders speculate an announcement could happen in June 2026.
