The new One UI 8.5 interface has debuted alongside Samsung's flagship Galaxy S26 lineup and will soon roll out to other Galaxy devices. While Samsung hasn't released an official compatibility list yet, the update is expected to reach all devices that already support One UI 8.0 or shipped with it out of the box.
This update is anticipated for the Galaxy S series (S25, S24, S23 FE, S22, S21 FE), the foldable Galaxy Z series (Z Fold 7, Z Fold 6, Z Fold 5, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 7, Z Flip 6, Z Flip 5, Z Flip 4, including special editions and TriFold), and mid-range series including Galaxy A (A7x, A5x, A3x, A2x, A1x, A0x), Galaxy M (M5x, M3x, M1x, M0x), and Galaxy F (F7x, F5x, F3x, F1x, F0x). Tablets expected to receive the update include the Galaxy Tab S11, Tab S10, Tab S9, Tab S8, Tab S6 Lite, Tab A, and Tab Active 5, along with rugged smartphones Galaxy XCover 7 and XCover 6 Pro.
A beta version of One UI 8.5 is already available for the Galaxy S25, with several test builds released. Samsung is also preparing beta programs for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The stable version should begin reaching other Galaxy devices soon.
