JBL has introduced two new models in its Live lineup: the full-size JBL Live 780NC and the on-ear JBL Live 680NC. While their designs differ, both devices share a similar set of features and are aimed at users who prioritize long battery life and modern connectivity options.
Battery life stands out as a key feature. In normal use, these headphones can last up to 80 hours on a single charge. With active noise cancellation enabled, that time drops to around 50 hours—still an impressive figure for wireless models.
Both models fully recharge in about two hours. They also support multipoint connectivity, allowing you to pair them with multiple devices simultaneously. For calls, there are two dedicated microphones, with AI algorithms helping to enhance voice transmission quality.
The JBL Live 780NC and JBL Live 680NC support high-resolution audio transmission via both Bluetooth and wired connections. They look similar and come in seven color options, though the 680NC version is slightly lighter.
The main difference lies in the noise-cancellation system. The JBL Live 780NC uses six microphones for ANC, while the JBL Live 680NC has four. Pricing is set at $250 and $160 respectively, with shipments starting on March 15.
