Cyberpunk 2077 gets no more expansions as studio confirms end of DLC

CD Projekt RED has officially confirmed that it will not be releasing any new expansions or DLC for Cyberpunk 2077. The statement came in response to a fan's question on social media platform X, where players had been speculating about a possible "secret DLC."

The studio responded that it has no plans for additional DLC or expansions, and if anything changes, the developers will announce it. This effectively puts an end to questions about major content support for the game going forward.

Meanwhile, rumors have been circulating online about a new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. While there's no official confirmation yet, multiple signs suggest an announcement could come this year. Against this backdrop, some players had hoped Cyberpunk 2077 might receive another expansion too, especially given the unexpected updates the studio has released previously.

Currently, CD Projekt RED is focused on several major projects: The Witcher 4, a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, and other games under the codenames Project Hadar and Project Sirius. It appears that Cyberpunk 2077's development will be limited to existing content, with the company's main resources now directed toward new releases.
