Xiaomi recently unveiled the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra in India, and now another smartphone in the lineup, the Xiaomi 17T, is gearing up for launch. According to new leaks, the device could debut in the next two to three months, likely by late April or May. Insider Gadgetsdata reports that the expected price for the Xiaomi 17T will be around $590. This figure might account for initial promotions and special offers, which Xiaomi typically rolls out in the first weeks of sales.
It's said that alongside the standard Xiaomi 17T, a more advanced Xiaomi 17T Pro could be introduced, though only the base model is expected to hit the Indian market. Both devices are rumored to feature cameras tuned by Leica and a triple rear module: a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP secondary module, and a 50 MP telephoto lens. The Pro version is anticipated to include a periscope lens, while the front camera may have a 32 MP resolution.
The Xiaomi 17T is claimed to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor and come with a 6,500 mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging. The 17T Pro might be equipped with the more powerful Dimensity 9500 chip. It's also speculated that the Pro model will be based on the upcoming Redmi K90 Ultra, featuring a 6.8-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate, an 8,500 mAh battery with 100W charging, a built-in cooling system, and an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
If the leaks hold true, the Xiaomi 17T will become another mid-to-premium device focusing on battery life and performance. Official launch details are expected in the coming weeks.
