Insiders suggest April could be one of the busiest months for the smartphone market. New devices from Huawei and OPPO are expected to launch, including flagship and foldable models.
Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station shared this information on Weibo. According to the leak, April could see the debut of the OPPO Find X9 Ultra and OPPO Find X9s Pro smartphones, along with the new Huawei Pura 90 series and the foldable Huawei Pura X2. Several devices focusing on high performance and equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip are also anticipated.
Preliminary information indicates the OPPO Find X9s Pro might be a relatively compact smartphone with a Dimensity 9500 processor. Meanwhile, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra is rumored to be a camera-focused flagship that could feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.
For Huawei devices, the base Pura 90 model is expected to have a 6.58-inch display, while more expensive versions might come with 6.87-inch flat screens. The standard version is thought to run on the Kirin 9020 processor, with advanced models using the Kirin 9030 and Kirin 9030 Pro.
The company may also introduce an updated Huawei Pura X2 foldable with a wide form factor. Rumors suggest the device will feature a 7.69-inch WQHD+ inner display and a 5.5-inch outer screen. Additionally, the smartphone could be equipped with a four-camera Red Maple system, including a 50MP main sensor, a 40MP ultra-wide module, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a multispectral color sensor.
