With this feature, users can ask health-related questions and receive answers tailored to their individual metrics. The AI analyzes data on biomarkers, test results, and information from fitness devices to generate personalized recommendations. It also claims to create custom workout and nutrition plans based on the collected information.
Developers state that the system relies on verified medical sources, including clinical guidelines and scientific publications. To ensure quality control, an expert panel of doctors and medical specialists has been established to monitor the accuracy of conclusions and the safety of use.
However, privacy remains a key concern. Perplexity asserts that user data is protected by encryption, not used for model training, and not shared with third parties.
