French fashion house Hermès has unveiled one of the most expensive Apple tech accessories to date—a premium MagSafe charger that costs more than several flagship iPhones combined. This new release is part of the brand's spring collection and continues Hermès' long-standing partnership with Apple.
The charger is designed with a clear focus on luxury, featuring a fully leather-wrapped charging station with two zones: one for iPhone and another for Apple Watch. The right-hand area provides fast charging for smartphones, though the integrated cable is non-replaceable, raising practical concerns.
The price has sparked the most discussion. The charger alone is priced at $1,750, while a set with a branded leather case reaches $5,150—more than three iPhone 17 Pro models. Notably, the package doesn't include a power adapter, requiring users to purchase one separately.
