Xiaomi has resumed distributing the HyperOS 3 update for the Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphone after previously identified serious issues. The initial firmware version was recalled due to critical bugs that caused random reboots and even boot loops. The company has now released a fixed build that, according to its data, is free from these shortcomings.
The update for the Xiaomi 13T Pro is based on Android 16 and includes HyperOS 3 features along with the February 2026 security patch. New firmware versions are rolling out in different regions: the global version carries the number OS3.0.1.0.WMLMIXM, Turkey gets OS3.0.1.0.WMLTRXM, Taiwan receives OS3.0.1.0.WMLTWXM, and Russia has OS3.0.1.0.WMLRUXM.
Simultaneously, HyperOS 3 updates have begun reaching POCO F5 users, though this model uses Android 15 as its base. This is because the smartphone has already received two major Android updates and is not on the list of devices supporting Android 16. For the POCO F5, the global firmware version OS3.0.3.0.VMRMIXM is available, which also includes the February security update.
The update size for the POCO F5 is about 2 GB, so users are advised to download it over a stable Wi-Fi connection, charge the device to at least 40% beforehand, and back up their data. Availability can be checked manually in the device settings.
