Redmi K100 rumors: specs, release date, and POCO F9 Ultra details

Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is preparing to launch its new flagship lineup, the Redmi K100. Rumors suggest it will debut in China this October, following the release of the Xiaomi 18 series. The initial lineup is expected to include two models, with the top-tier version being the Redmi K100 Pro Max.

According to a recent leak from insider Digital Chat Station, the device may feature the next-generation flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, built on a 2nm process. The smartphone is also rumored to offer up to 16GB of LPDDR6 RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

Based on the information, the focus appears to be on maximum performance, an improved display, and overall device speed. However, the camera is said to remain at a typical flagship level without significant breakthroughs.

Earlier leaks from the same source, though, pointed to an advanced camera setup: a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide module, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. If these details are confirmed, the smartphone could still offer strong photography capabilities.

On the global market, the model is expected to launch under a different name—the POCO F9 Ultra. It will likely be introduced alongside the POCO F9 Pro, which is the version of the Redmi K100, in the first quarter of 2027.
