Rumors suggest OPPO is working on a new smartwatch model called the OPPO Watch X3 Mini. This device could serve as a more compact alternative to the recently launched OPPO Watch X3, targeting users who prioritize comfort in daily wear.
The base Watch X3 is already available in China and sits in the premium segment. It features a titanium case, a 1.5-inch LTPO OLED display, and a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor. Key functions include ECG monitoring, skin temperature measurement, and long battery life, especially in power-saving modes.
According to insider Digital Chat Station, OPPO is developing a smaller version, tentatively named the Watch X3 Mini. While there's no official confirmation yet, such rumors have surfaced before.
The Mini version is expected to have a more compact case and a display likely in the 1.3–1.4-inch range. This should make the device more comfortable for extended use, though it may impact battery capacity and runtime. Such trade-offs are typical for compact wearables.
Release timing remains unclear: April has been mentioned, but without concrete confirmation. It's also uncertain whether the model will launch globally. OPPO has previously released similar devices under the OnePlus brand, so this version might get an alternative name.
