iQOO Neo 11 series: launch, specs, and availability updates

According to insider reports, the iQOO brand is already developing the next generation of its Neo 11 smartphone series. Following the release of previous models, the company is preparing to launch an updated lineup, which may feature changes to key specifications. Leaker Smart Pikachu suggests the iQOO Neo 11 series will debut in China in the second quarter of this year. However, rising component costs could potentially affect the launch timeline.

The most significant change might be a switch to the Dimensity 9500 or its 950s variant, moving away from Qualcomm solutions. While it's unclear which chip version will be selected, this points to a possible strategic shift for the series. The final device name also remains uncertain—it could be called the iQOO Neo 11 Pro or another model. Other specifications are expected to largely resemble the current generation, according to preliminary data.

The smartphone is anticipated to feature a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It would include a 16MP front camera and a dual main camera setup with a 50MP sensor featuring optical image stabilization, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The device is also rumored to offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, and a 7,500 mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging.

Other expected features include an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and the Android 16 operating system with the OriginOS 6 interface.

Some sources indicate iQOO might not release the Neo series in the Indian market this year. If that happens, the new devices would remain exclusive to China.
