Huawei Enjoy 90 and 90 Plus: long battery life and HarmonyOS 6

Huawei has unveiled two new smartphones, the Enjoy 90 and Enjoy 90 Plus, focusing on battery life and balanced features. Both models come with high-capacity batteries and run the latest HarmonyOS 6 software, while the Plus version offers more advanced capabilities and performance.

The Huawei Enjoy 90 Plus features a 6.67-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, reaching a peak brightness of 850 nits. It is powered by the Kirin 8000 processor, which the company claims delivers up to 67% more power than previous generations. The main camera uses a 50-megapixel sensor, while the front camera has an 8-megapixel sensor.

A key highlight is the 6,620 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support. Combined with HarmonyOS optimizations, this should provide extended usage without frequent recharging. The smartphone also includes IP65 water and dust resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an infrared port, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 support. It measures 8.32mm thick and weighs 212 grams. The 128GB version is priced at 1,499 yuan, while the 256GB variant costs 1,799 yuan.

The base Huawei Enjoy 90 uses the Kirin 8000A processor but retains the same 6,620 mAh battery and HarmonyOS 6 system. It offers AI features like facial recognition with replaceable options and fraud protection tools for calls and family scenarios. The starting price for the 128GB model is 1,299 yuan, going up to 1,599 yuan for the 256GB version.
