Samsung is expanding its One UI 8.5 beta testing program, making the new firmware version available to more Galaxy devices. Initially, the update was limited to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7, but now the company has added nine additional models to the test.
The list includes flagship smartphones and tablets from recent generations, such as the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S25 FE, as well as the foldable Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. Additionally, the update will be available for the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra tablets. Some of these devices have already started receiving the beta version in select regions.
The One UI 8.5 Beta rollout begins in March 2026 and covers four countries: India, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Notably, traditional participants in Samsung's beta programs, like Germany, China, and Poland, are not included this time. Users can join the testing through the Samsung Members app, after which the update installs via the standard system settings. However, Samsung warns that the beta version may contain bugs, so it's not recommended for installation on primary devices.
This expansion of the testing program signals active preparation for the final release of One UI 8.5, which, given the pace, could arrive in the coming months.
