vivo has unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the X300s, focusing on performance and advanced photography capabilities. The device features MediaTek's top-tier Dimensity 9500 processor and vivo's proprietary V3+ image processing chip, highlighting the model's emphasis on mobile photography.
The camera system is the standout feature. It includes a 200-megapixel Samsung sensor with a large 1/1.4-inch matrix and Zeiss optics. This is complemented by a Sony periscope telephoto lens with APO certification, which delivers high color accuracy and quality zoom. Both cameras support advanced CIPA 4.5-level stabilization and a new flash module with improved color reproduction. vivo has also implemented image-processing features, including customizable filters and AI algorithms that process photos during capture.
The display has seen significant upgrades as well. For the first time in the series, it uses a 6.78-inch LTPO panel with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The screen supports high brightness of up to 2,000 nits, wide color gamut, and flicker-reduction technologies, making it suitable for both gaming and extended use. The manufacturer specifically highlights support for high frame rates in mobile games.
The smartphone will be available in several configurations with storage up to 1 TB, with a starting price of 4,999 yuan. Alongside the device, vivo introduced the compact external G2 lens, which expands shooting capabilities by enabling focal lengths up to 200 mm, emphasizing portrait and video photography.
