OPPO K15 Pro and Pro+ smartphones for gamers with fast charging

OPPO has officially launched the OPPO K15 Pro and OPPO K15 Pro+ smartphones in China. Designed with gamers in mind, these new models feature built-in cooling fans, LED lighting, and high-capacity silicon-carbon batteries. The Pro+ version stands out with its support for 100W fast charging.

The K15 Pro+ boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,272×2,772 pixels, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. It includes an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a 16MP front-facing camera. Meanwhile, the K15 Pro comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED FHD+ display running at 144Hz, an optical fingerprint scanner, and a similar front camera setup.

Under the hood, the Pro+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, while the K15 Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8500. Both phones are equipped with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The Pro+ model features UFS 4.1 storage, whereas the Pro version uses UFS 3.1, with both offering up to 512GB of capacity. To manage heat effectively, they incorporate large vapor chambers and physical cooling fans, which can lower the device temperature by around 5°C. Despite these active cooling components, both smartphones maintain IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance.

In practice, this means users get robust performance without sacrificing durability. The camera systems are identical across both models: a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The key difference lies in the batteries. The K15 Pro+ packs an 8,000mAh battery supporting 100W charging, while the K15 Pro has a 7,500mAh battery with 80W charging. Both devices support reverse and bypass charging.

Running on Android 16 with the ColorOS 16 interface, these phones offer a smooth user experience. The Pro+ version is available in Photodust (pink), Origin Grey (gray), and Cyber Wings (white). The K15 Pro comes in the same color options plus an additional Golden Legend (black) variant.
