Images of the retail packaging for the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Creator Combo have leaked online, effectively revealing the device's key specifications ahead of its official announcement. Unlike typical rumors, this involves the final box already in stock, meaning the listed parameters are highly likely to match the actual product. Multiple sources simultaneously point to a launch date of April 20, 2026, though DJI has not officially confirmed this yet.
According to the packaging details, the camera will feature a 1-inch sensor, 14 stops of dynamic range, built-in storage with 107 GB capacity and speeds up to 800 MB/s, 2x lossless zoom, and 4-channel audio recording. The addition of built-in storage stands out as a notable change—previous models relied on microSD cards, but now users can record for extended periods without swapping media.
Audio capabilities have also been upgraded: instead of the old stereo setup with three microphones, the device implements 4-channel sound. Combined with a 10-bit D-Log profile, this pushes the camera toward a more professional tier. While the sensor itself remains the same as in the previous generation, improvements in dynamic range, processing, and zoom make the camera significantly more versatile.
Shooting functions have seen separate enhancements: the 2x lossless zoom is achieved through sensor cropping rather than digital interpolation, preserving image quality. Leaks also mention an ActiveTrack tracking system, though its specific version hasn't been officially confirmed.
The Creator Combo version, based on the packaging, will include extra accessories like a fill light, wide-angle lens, and wireless microphone, turning the camera into a ready-made solution for content creators. The base model is expected to cost around $499, with the expanded kit priced between $649 and $749. Reports also suggest a more advanced Pocket 4 Pro version might launch later in summer 2026.
