Fujifilm has launched the new X-T30 III camera, targeting content creators who value a blend of compact design and advanced shooting capabilities. This model continues the X Series lineage, maintaining the recognizable aesthetic while placing greater emphasis on video features and intelligent functions.
At its core is the 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor paired with the X-Processor 5. This combination delivers faster image processing and enhanced dynamic range, benefiting both photography and videography across various conditions.
Video capabilities receive special attention. The camera supports 6.2K recording at 30 frames per second with 10-bit color, along with 4K at 60 fps and slow-motion Full HD up to 240 fps. An open gate mode utilizes the entire sensor, which is useful for cropping into different formats later—from vertical video to cinematic aspect ratios.
Fujifilm's signature color reproduction remains a key part of the package. A dedicated dial offers 20 film simulation profiles, including new additions like REALA ACE and NOSTALGIC Neg. Users can also save custom color settings for quick access. The autofocus system now incorporates AI support, capable of recognizing people, animals, birds, vehicles, and even drones. Paired with digital stabilization, this helps achieve sharp, smooth footage even when shooting on the move.
Weighing around 378 grams, the X-T30 III retains a compact form factor with a central viewfinder and a tilting screen. It is already available on the market, starting at $1,100 for the body only, while the kit with a lens begins at $1,290, offering a versatile solution for both photo and video work.
