OnePlus has unveiled the new Nord 6 smartphone, which combines a powerful processor, a high screen refresh rate, and record-breaking battery capacity. The device features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,772 by 1,272 pixels and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. Running OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, it offers users four Android updates and six years of security patches.
At its core is the flagship Snapdragon 8s Gen 4h chipset, paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The 9,000 mAh battery supports 80W fast charging, 27W reverse charging, and a bypass charging function. An efficient cooling system ensures stable performance during extended gaming sessions.
For photography, the Nord 6 includes a 50-megapixel main camera with Sony's LYTIA-600 sensor, featuring optical and electronic stabilization, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The 32-megapixel front camera supports 4K video recording. Other features encompass Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, a USB Type-C port, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an infrared port, and dual stereo speakers.
Durability is a key highlight, with the display protected by Crystal Guard glass and the body meeting IP66, IP68, IP69, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H standards. At 8.5 mm thick and weighing around 217 grams, the smartphone remains comfortable for everyday use.
Pricing starts at $420 for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, while the top-tier model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costs $450. Sales begin on April 9, 2026.
