Gothic Remake pre-orders now available for PC and consoles

Publisher THQ Nordic has officially opened pre-orders for Gothic Remake, a reimagining of the cult classic RPG scheduled for release on June 5, 2026. The game will launch simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X. This is one of the most anticipated remakes in recent years, particularly for fans of the original Gothic.

The PC version is priced at €49.99 and includes a welcome bonus: an updated official soundtrack by composer Kai Rosenkranz. The music has been completely reworked, with familiar themes receiving a fresh sound and new compositions added to deepen the game's atmosphere.

Console versions cost €59.99 and additionally include Gothic Classic—the original game adapted for modern platforms. This allows players not only to experience the updated version but also to compare it with the classic that started the series.

For collectors, a special edition priced at €199.99 is available on the official website. The package contains physical and decorative items: a metal case (for the PC version), a wall mask, a leather strap and notebook, the original soundtrack, and the game itself. For consoles, a physical copy of Gothic Classic is also included.

Development of the remake is handled by studio Alkimia Interactive. The project features not only updated graphics but also several hours of new content, including previously cut elements. The combat and movement systems have been substantially reworked, and key story events now significantly impact the game world and NPC behavior, making the experience more immersive and logical.

For those wanting an early look, the Nyras Prologue demo is available, allowing players to sample the updated mechanics and atmosphere. Full PC system requirements have already been published, giving players the chance to prepare their systems for launch.
