DJI has officially confirmed the imminent launch of its new compact camera for content creators, the Osmo Pocket 4. The device will be unveiled later this month, and according to the company, it will be released globally rather than just in China.
The Osmo Pocket 4 will serve as the long-awaited successor to the popular Osmo Pocket 3. Initial mentions of the camera emerged back in May 2025, and since late last year, the device has been frequently spotted during testing phases. This has heightened anticipation for the new model, particularly among content creators.
Based on preliminary information, the new model will feature an upgraded camera, a more advanced object-tracking system, and larger built-in storage. These improvements are expected to make the device even more convenient for vlogging and mobile content creation.
Rumors also suggest that an Osmo Pocket 4 Pro version is in development, though DJI has not yet commented on its existence. The company is primarily focusing on the base model, which will be introduced shortly.
The official announcement for the Osmo Pocket 4 is scheduled for April 16. The camera is anticipated to launch in the U.S. at a price point around $499, positioning it as a direct competitor to its predecessor.
