Xiaomi HyperOS 3.1 expands to new smartphones and tablets

Xiaomi continues its global rollout of HyperOS 3.1, making the update available to an increasing number of devices. The new system version first debuted on the Xiaomi 17 series, and the company is now expanding support to more smartphones and tablets.

Currently, the update is reaching the following models: Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi 15T Pro, Xiaomi Pad 7, Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, Redmi Pad Pro, POCO F7 Pro, and POCO Pad. While the list remains limited for now, it will expand in the coming weeks.

Based on Android 16, HyperOS 3.1 brings several notable changes. One key addition is the HyperIsland feature, which debuted on tablets and now offers enhanced capabilities on smartphones, including smoother animations and integration with third-party apps.

The multitasking interface has also been refreshed, now resembling iOS with more fluid gesture navigation and easier app switching. Additionally, the system features improved compatibility with Apple devices, including support for AirPods with quick pairing and spatial audio.

Other updates include faster installation through the Super OTA feature, expanded lock screen settings, and general optimizations aimed at boosting system stability and performance.
