Thermaltake expands sim racing lineup with XRW-G1 GT wheel and XRP-L1 pedals

Thermaltake is expanding its sim racing lineup with two new additions: the XRW-G1 GT steering wheel and the XRP-L1 loadcell pedal set. These products target demanding users who prioritize precise control, realism, and customization to match their driving style.

The XRW-G1 GT steering wheel features a 300mm diameter and combines aluminum, carbon fiber, and reinforced polymer for a sturdy yet lightweight build. At its center is a 5-inch touchscreen that displays real-time telemetry like engine RPM and flags. Surrounding the display are various controls, including backlit buttons, switches, encoders, and additional controllers, allowing users to fully tailor the setup for specific needs.

To enhance realism, the wheel includes carbon-fiber magnetic paddle shifters that provide crisp tactile feedback. RGB indicators also show RPM and system status, helping drivers react faster during races. A quick-release mechanism allows for tool-free wheel changes, bringing the experience closer to real motorsports.

The XRP-L1 pedal set is built on an aluminum base machined from a single piece of metal, ensuring high durability and minimal flex even under aggressive use. The gas pedal uses a 16-bit Hall effect sensor for smooth and precise input, while the brake incorporates a 200kg load cell with adjustable resistance via interchangeable springs and dampers to mimic real racing systems.

The pedal design allows for angle adjustments and easy installation in various sim racing setups. Full compatibility with Thermaltake's software enables detailed customization of pedal response and behavior. Together, these new products aim to strengthen the brand's ecosystem and offer users a more realistic and professional virtual racing experience.
