Huawei Sound X5 acoustic system with 8 drivers and HarmonyOS

Huawei has expanded its smart device lineup with the launch of the new Sound X5 acoustic system. Announced alongside other brand innovations, this speaker stands out as one of the company's most advanced models, emphasizing not just sound quality but also seamless integration with its device ecosystem.

At the core of the Sound X5 is a sophisticated audio setup featuring eight drivers and a three-way configuration. It includes a large 126-millimeter subwoofer, four mid-range drivers, a tweeter, and passive radiators. This design aims to deliver clear frequency separation and deep bass, which Huawei claims reaches down to 36 Hz.

The system's total power output is around 160 watts, a significant upgrade over its predecessor. Beyond audio performance, Huawei has focused on smart capabilities: the speaker runs on an updated version of HarmonyOS, offering more natural voice control and the ability to engage in dialogue without repeated activations.

A notable highlight is a version with decorative elements made from 18-karat gold, along with lighting effects that sync with the music. The device comes in several colors, with pricing starting at approximately 2,199 yuan, while the premium variant will cost more.
